What North Kove is, and isn’t.

North Kove doesn’t provide investment, tax, or legal advice. If you’re unsure, talk to a qualified Canadian professional before acting on what you see here.

What it does

North Kove is a decision-support and bookkeeping tool for Canadians who borrow to invest. It helps you rehearse a leveraged-investing strategy against real historical data, and — once you commit to one — keep the records you need to support an interest deduction under section 20(1)(c) of the Income Tax Act. The math is deterministic and transparent.

What it doesn’t do

It does not recommend stocks, allocations, leverage amounts, or timing. It does not file taxes. It does not project future returns. It does not provide legal opinions on the deductibility of any specific transaction.

You’re responsible for your decisions

The information here is general, not personal advice. Your facts, your accountant, your lawyer, your tolerance for risk. Past performance — including anything you simulate on this site — does not guarantee future returns. You assume any risk in creating or following plans based on what you see here.

Founder credentials

North Kove’s founder is a Canadian software developer, not a CPA, CFP, or PFP. Nothing on this site should be read as advice from a credentialed professional. For advice, hire one.
