Privacy.

North Kove collects the minimum amount of personal information needed to run the product and to talk to you about it. This page describes what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you join a waitlist, we collect your email address, the use-case checkboxes you select, and any optional free-text response you provide.

When you use the site, our analytics provider (PostHog) records anonymous interaction events — pages visited, buttons clicked, time on page. If you submit your email through a form, that email is associated with your prior anonymous session.

We do not collect, and we will never ask for:

  • Your Social Insurance Number
  • Your full bank or brokerage account numbers
  • Your tax return information
  • Your government-issued ID

Why we collect it

We use waitlist submissions to (a) contact you when the product is ready, and (b) understand which features matter most so we build yours first. We use analytics to understand which parts of the site work and which don’t.

That’s it. We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with advertisers. We don’t use it to train models.

Where it’s stored

  • PostHog (analytics + waitlist responses) — hosted in the United States
  • Vercel (web hosting) — globally distributed with Canadian edge presence

All providers meet PIPEDA’s “comparable protection” standard. If we add a subprocessor, this page gets updated.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails and survey responses are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until the product permanently shuts down — whichever comes first. Anonymous analytics events are retained for up to 12 months.

Your rights under PIPEDA

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct it if it’s wrong
  • Delete it
  • Export it in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

Email zak.lang@dailyquest.ca and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Cookies

PostHog sets a small number of cookies for analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we’ll update this page and — if you’re on the waitlist — send you an email. We won’t make changes retroactive without your consent.
